Servin
up the sounds of the South for over 20
Years!
A
unique blend of rhythm and blues, zydeco,
rock n' roll, country and
swamp-pop, the music of Mark Willis
& Cocodrie has inspired crowds at a
variety of festive and exciting occasions,
whether it be at music festivals across
Louisiana or at wedding parties and
political affairs. Charlie Daniels, Percy
Sledge, Delbert McClinton and Louisiana's
LaRoux have been the headliners at some of
the concerts where they have performed. In
1999 the band performed during the Houston
Livestock Show and Rodeo at the
"Hideout"
(where other artists such as
Montgomery/Gentry and Lee Roy Parnell have
performed), a new venue alongside the
Astrodome. Over 15,000 tickets sold were
sold for this performance.
Mark
was nominated and selected as the "Best
Rhythm and Blues, Boogie Keyboard Player
Award" and the "Best Country Keyboard
Player Award" in The
Times of Acadiana Music
Poll,
held in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Mark
Willis & Cocodrie band were also
nominated for best Rhythm and Blues group
in the same poll.
Cocodrie
participates in many Louisiana State
celebrations and festivals, always leaving
the crowds asking for more more and
more!

"Mark
Willis and Cocodrie, are in my opinion,
the
hottest
